B5 en DVD: ampliando información

Más información de la serie en DVD. ¡La cosa tiene buena pinta!

1.- Como hay varios mensajes, pongo al principio el original (siempre 
responde jms) y luego la traducción de ese mensaje. Espero que se 
note :-)

2.- En la traducción pachanguera hay términos que no sé si han sido 
traducidos correctamente, y son los que figuran ¿*así*? Perdonad si 
no queda demasiado coherente.

The only things that I'm aware of that were cropped in those were the 
CGI and composite scenes, since we can't go back and re-render all 
that stuff.

Las únicas cosas de las que estoy al tanto que se cortaron en estos
fueron los CGI y las escenas compuestas, dado que no podíamos volver 
atrás y regenerar todo ese material.

No.  It's WB's policy that they don't pay to have people do 
commentaries.  The problem here is that there's so *much* that they 
want...an on-camera interview, two to four full commentaries, and 
further analyses on the races, technologies, politics, all that 
stuff...it's a huge amount of work.  But their response was
that if it wasn't done for free, across the board, they'd just 
deliver a foreshortened version, little to no extras, no publicity, 
little to nothing without my commentary, which they feel is essential 
to the set.  Rather than have a lesser version go out to the fans, I 
figured I'd just bite the bullet and do it.

No. Es política de WB el no pagar a la gente por hacer comentarios. 
El problema aquí es que es *tanto* lo que quieren... una entrevista 
frente a la cámara, dos o cuatro comentarios extensos, y análisis 
detallados de las razas, tecnologías, políticas, todo ese tipo de 
cosas... es una cantidad enorme de trabajo. Pero su respuesta era que 
si no se iba a hacer gratis, ¿*por la patilla*?, simplemente harían 
una versión recortada, con pocos extras o ninguno, sin publicidad, de 
menos a nada sin mis comentarios, cre ellos creen son esenciales para 
el conjunto. En lugar de tener una versión recortada para los fans, 
me imaginé que ¿*me mordería la lengua*? y lo haría.
