   Buenass,

   Me ha sorprendido un hecho que ha ocurrido en la empresa en la que
trabajo. Tenemos una conexión dedicada con un cliente, un ordenador
aislado, únicamente conectado con la red interna de este cliente. El
caso es que me indican que NO TENEMOS EL ANTIVIRUS RECOMENDADO POR ELLOS
instalado en este pc. Mi pregunta es, ¿como d....... saben que no lo
tengo instalado?. El Pc, Win95, TCP/IP, solo tiene software especifico
de su aplicación remota y ofimatico, ...
   A mi se me ocurren dos posibilidades:
 - son chicos malos,
 - o es que este soft abre algún puerto (estraño como mínimo en un
antivirus).
   alguien tiene alguna otra idea?

What should I do to get current anti-virus software?

	- Home PC used by a (Empresa XXX) Employee
	Call the (Empresa XXX) Global Service Desk and request the ?Home PC Kit?.  This will include an 			installation of Norton Anti-Virus software.

	- Non I/S Supported Workstations 
	You are responsible for obtaining the Norton Anti-Virus software for this (Empresa XXX) computer.   If 		you have local or special computer support for this computer, contact them for assistance.

	- Other Workstations Not Owned or Leased By (Empresa XXX) 
	You will need to work with your company's support services for assistance to acquire anti-virus 		protection that meets (Empresa XXX)?s requirements.


Compliance with the Virus Protection Policy
There is a constant threat of new viruses.  It is important that anti-virus software be kept current.  Therefore, anti-virus definition files (signature files) must not be older than 30 days, to comply with (Empresa XXX)?s Virus Protection policy.  (Empresa XXX) reserves the right to shorten this period during virus incidents.
