[IRC-DEV] Sobre el ya comentado (el 16 de Mayo 2002) NO_CREATE_ON_SPLIT

Hace un tiempo en esta lista se comentó una funcionalidad que pareció
interesar (en parte xD), llamada NO_CREATE_ON_SPLIT , implementada por los
devels de Hybrid IRCd y que a modo de resumen, impide como su nombre indica
la creación de canales en situaciones de split

Recientemente me ha dado por revisar el paquete de Hybrid en desarrollo
actual (7rc1) y me encuentro con un complemento a esta funcionalidad del
demonio que dice algo como esto:

"Persistent channels are included. With TS5 the only reason to enable
no_join_on_split is to prevent people gaining access to +ik channels on
a netsplit. Persistent channels in combination with no_create_on_split
offer an alternative, by preserving a channel when it becomes empty, via
a split or the last user parting. All of the channels modes and bans will be
kept for the time specified in the config file. A user that does
successfully
join an empty preserved channel will have ops and the channel timestamp will
be reset to the current time, so if there was a netsplit when the user
joined
they will lose ops due to the rules of TS.
Persistent channels are configurable via:
persist_time = 30 minutes; will persist channels for at least 30 mins"

Os mando el mensaje por si apetece rescatar el tema del NO_CREATE_ON_SPLIT y
de paso pues por si apetece comentar este añadido de "canales persistentes"
como tema de debate del demonio IRC
