Some verified xTOS news this week: Work on the actual xTOS operating
system has recently started. The operating system is going to be "an
operating system combining the stability of old TOS versions with the
flexibility of modern operating systems like MiNT or MagiC." Further,
the developers are looking into the possibility of MiNT (or parts of it)
integration at the kernel level. Apparently, the developers are setting
their sights high and plan on on giving the xTOS OS "more and different
features than any other Atari OS has had so far." Of course, at this
stage it's far too early to disclose specific details. (Source: xTOS
