Babylon 5 Movie News

 In early April it was announced that the SCI FI Channel US had picked up
the rites to broadcast all 112 hours of Babylon 5 including the Four 2 hour
movies, beginning Sept 25th.

Since then it was reported that Warner's were showing interest in a possible
new series based on the Babylon 5 format. Jerry Doyle was quoted as saying
"there were on going discussions" The format was expected to include Four of
the original cast including Bruce Boxlietner and Claudia Christian.

Up to now all has remained quiet, however the news in is that the Sci Fi
channel are in discussions to produce a new 2 hour made for TV movie. A
former cast member has confirmed that talks are taking place. Former cast
members including Boxlietner have made it clear in recent months that they
would be willing to reprise their roles, however the 2 hour movie format was
their preferred choice rather than a series.

The SCI FI Channel's commitment to the series will be further enhanced by a
documentary to be screened in September produced by ATOMIC BRAIN Inc.

Basicamente dice que la Warner tiene interes en hacer una serie con el
formato de Babylon 5. Y que se hayan en negociaciones con el SCI FI Channel
para hacer una pelicula de dos horas.
