[IRC-DEV] Curiosidad de otra lista

Hola,

    A algunos integrantes de esta lista, se nos critica un poco por ser, 
según algunos, excesivamente puntillosos. Bien, pues como muestra de que 
en todas partes cuecen habas y no precisamente en el hispano a 
calderadas, sino fuera de aqui, valga esta muestra:

    En la lista de Efnet, ayer una persona mandó este mensaje:

Greetz all,

We are running hybrid-6.2 and I compiled after undef'ing DO_IDENTD in
include/config.h - The server is still performing ident lookups
apparently, though.  We have it disabled on the firewall for security
reasons but it is still causing about a 20 second lag on connect as
you see the message:
--- Connected. Now logging in..
--- AUTH :*** Looking up your hostname...
--- AUTH :*** Checking Ident
--- AUTH :*** Found your hostname

And here pauses.

Are we missing an option to disable the ident option?  Or what else
might be the problem?
