You were using bsddb3-6.0.0 before I actually announce it :-).

dbxml is a separate product released by Oracle, unrelated to
pybsddb/bsddb3. Had you tried to contact them?

No idea, but I would absolutely love to have precompiled binaries for
MS Windows in PYPI, and a detailed description of how to generate
them. Could you possibly help me? :-)
